What is the difference between "snapshot" and "screenshot"?
The similarity of "snapshot" and " capture" is that the final products of these options is jpg format.
The difference between the two are listed as follows
1) "snapshot" not only capture the whole webpage but also abstract html codes, texts of this page.
When create a bookmark on IE or FF, you can choose " snapshot" in " more options".
Once the option chosen, the current webpage will be uploaded to our servers.
2) "capture" only capture the visible part of webpage. After webpage captured as a picture, annotations can be added to it. Original pictures with annotations are saved to your online library as a whole.
3) Once webpage visited, it is grabbed by back-end servers. If webpages are grabbed successfully, "snapshot" will show up below the title of your bookmark in your library. That means you can search any words in snapshot. Besides, there will be a " screenshot " blue button in the new tab alongside with "webpage" button after visiting " snapshot" of your bookmark.
Note: The webpage uploaded to our server via " snapshot" feature may be different from the webpage automatically grabbed by back-end servers. For example, some sections are visible only if you log on.
